The Black Excellence Committee is a parent-led committee with a vision of creating an inclusive and supportive network that builds a sense of belonging for Black families across the Santee School District. Please read this flyer for more information.

BEC Planning Committee Requirements:

Be able to attend monthly, 90-minute, planning meetings.
Be either a parent of a student in the Santee School District, a resident of Santee, or a local Community-Based Organization that can support the vision of the Black Excellence Committee.
Be available to attend regular BEC events and activities.
