Los Angeles Charger Austin Ekeler Purchases Amazon Wishlist for Carlton Oaks Classroom

The Austin Ekeler Foundation purchased the Amazon Wishlist of Emily Sweetman’s 5th grade class at Carlton Oaks School. The donation included over $1,000 in flexible seating for the classroom, a set of biographies for the class Wax Museum project, and art supplies for classroom art lessons.

“I feel so fortunate to have received this generous donation from the Austin Ekeler foundation,” said Ms. Sweetman. “My class was very excited to use the supplies and to meet Austin via Zoom! We are looking forward to all the fun projects we will get to do using the art supplies and books.”

Austin started the Foundation in 2020 as a means to help people achieve their goals and fulfill their lives. The Foundation works to provide opportunities to those in need by bringing reusable resources to communities across the nation that can be utilized by a large number of people for years to come.

Austin's mom is a former teacher, so he was eager to take on a project that helped both students and their teachers.

“Education was always a priority for me,” said Mr. Ekeler. “We at the Austin Ekeler Foundation are very grateful to be able to provide resources that will help both teachers and students feel more motivated and comfortable in the classroom. I hope these resources can help maximize development and learning.”

Other recent projects the Foundation has been part of include funding a new weight room for a southern California high school, installing washers and dryers for children to access for free on their campus, and providing new football equipment to underserved youth programs.
